2026 Event Details
The 2026 Top Hands Tour brings together ranch rodeo competitors, families, and communities across Texas for a full season of events.
From qualifying events to the championship finals, each stop highlights real ranch skills, grit, and Western tradition.

About the Events
Each event features a full evening of competition and entertainment, including:
- Ranch Rodeo
- Top Hand Challenge
- Mutton Busting
- Guest speakers and community engagement
Teams compete in a series of events designed to test skill, horsemanship, and teamwork, with bragging rights and prizes on the line.
Main Events
- Ranch Rodeo — Four-person teams compete in traditional ranch events
- Top Hand Challenge — Individual competition testing speed, skill, and control
- Mutton Busting — Youth event for riders under 65 lbs
Additional specialty events and challenges may be included throughout the season.

- Gates open at 1:00 PM
- Events typically run from 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
- Spectator seating available at all venues
- Parking available (details vary by location)
Battle Of The Barns
Battle Details
Battle of the Barns is a signature event within the Top Hands Tour, created specifically for livestock auction barn teams. Battle of the Barns is part of the Top Hands Tour qualifying series.
This invite-only ranch rodeo brings together teams from across the region to compete in a high-energy format that showcases real-world ranch skills and teamwork.
